TSS GFC History Project 2020....

We need help on this one  - so spread the word....

Daire Walsh supported by a small group is going to dedicate many hours over the Summer to gathering the history of the Club with the intention writing a book which we intend to bring to sale in the Autumn / Winter if we can - but we cant do it on our own.

We need all your nuggets of history. Photos with names dates places , interesting snippets be it from Synge Street Past Pupils GAA, Templeogue GAA or the merged Templeogue Synge Street GFC.

The Broad structure of our content gathering is as follows: 

Section 1 Pre Club History

For example:

Before TSS, before Templeogue, Before Synge Street – there were other clubs – Terenure Sarsfields played in VEC. An all Ireland Final was played in VEC. Terenure college one of the original and first schools in Ireland still playing to field a schools gaelic football team.

Jane Boyle was the only woman shot in Bloody Sunday, lived on Synge Street ...
