Club Notes Week Beginning April 17

IT is set to be a big week in the club, as all three of our adult men’s teams will be in Championship action. First up on Friday evening will be our senior side, who face last year’s finalists, Castleknock, in the opening round of the Dublin Senior Football Championship. The venue for this game is O’Toole Park, with a throw-in time of 7pm.

Our Junior 1 side also have a massive encounter to look forward to on Sunday morning, when they face St Monica’s in Edenmore in the Junior ‘A’ Football Championship at 11am. It will also be a big day for our Junior 2 team, who will be hoping to build on their recent league win over Clontarf when they welcome Castleknock to Dolphin Park for a 3pm start in the Junior ‘D’ Football Championship. Indeed, Castleknock will be familiar opponents for TSS throughout this week, as they are also set to face our adult senior ladies team in a league encounter.

There are a number of fixtures for our underage section (boys and girls) in the next few days. Details on all games can be found on and Last Monday week (April 10) was a fantastic occasion for our U8 boys, who enjoyed a trip to Croke Park. As part of a general tour of GAA HQ, they got a chance to walk on the pitch, and also visit the immaculate dressing rooms in Jones’ Road. Well done to all those who took part in last week’s Easter Camp - which took place between Monday April 10th-Friday April 14th. For more information on club events and news, please visit
